I am an Anesthetist turned Podcast Host during the day and Interior Design Student at night. I was born and raised in Charleston, SC but just recently moved back home after living in Atlanta, GA for the past 7 years.
My career in medicine began when I decided to become a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA). I was always fascinated by the world of medicine and the critical but fulfilling role that anesthetists play in ensuring patient comfort and safety during surgery. For 7 years, I dedicated my time and expertise to this profession.
However, a passion for being my "own boss" and a desire to share knowledge with a wider audience eventually led me to explore the world of podcasting. I discovered that this platform can connect us all with people from diverse backgrounds and share meaningful conversations on different perspectives in the world of entrepreneurship.
When I'm not behind the microphone or in the operating room, you can find me exploring my other passions, such as designing our home, traveling the world and spending time with my husband, Adam, and our two pups Chip + Charlie.
I believe that a well-rounded life can enrich our understanding of the world and fuels our creativity. I am so excited to bring that passion to you through the many amazing entrepreneurs Sage and I have met. As always, please feel free to reach out and connect with me!!

At the beginning of my adult life, I pursued a career as an attorney, seeking a future of financial stability and security. At 22, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Criminology and Political Science and moved from my hometown of Waterford, Connecticut to Naples, Florida, planning to attend Ave Maria School of Law. But once there, I realized that I never had an overwhelming passion for law, so I decided to look into other career options.
I explored the world of Real Estate and worked as a Transaction Coordinator until relocating to Charleston. This led me to find my passion as an interior designer, the ultimate career I’d been searching for; never work a day in my life, dream job. Through attending the Charleston School of Interior Design, I met Kate. My birthday twin/business partner. Together we decided that we wanted to know everything we could about being an entrepreneur. What better way to do this than interviewing the experts themselves?
When not hosting the podcast or working on interior design, you can find me on the beach, at home cooking, or backpacking in the mountains with my husband, Brenton, and our two doodles, Irish and Benny.
I believe that connection is the key to unlocking new opportunities. When we connect with others, we open ourselves up to new perspectives, ideas, and possibilities. So let's get connected!
